The role of an Olami Connect Ambassador is to represent Olami in an authentic way. Inspiring Jewish greatness is what we are all about and your genuine passion for this value will shine through in your interactions with participants.
Being able to articulate what is great about Olami Connect, why it would be of added value to join the program and the benefits to participants for getting involved is crucial to the role as an ambassador. Being creative, using your initiative, and implementing strategies to engage unaffiliated participants is a primary focus of the job as well as being able to track and follow up effectively so that they continue their journey.
DUTIES OF AN AMBASSADOR
- Inspire new students to join the Olami Connect meditation series.
- Inspire participants who completed the Happiness series to join SoulBoost, a 5-session Olami Connect meditation experience.
- Commit to personal leadership development by attending all necessary training sessions live on Zoom.
- Facilitate a group of around 20 participants (online) by posting weekly pre-recorded videos and daily exercises. The material will be provided on the Ambassador Dashboard.
- Empower the participants by encouraging them to share day to day.
- Facilitate a breakout room with your group and attend the weekly online meetings with the meditation experts. Encourage participants to attend the weekly meeting.
- Follow up with the participants in your group after the series to connect them to a local Olami center or another SoulBoost program and encourage them to complete the survey that will be emailed to them. Report to Olami using the follow-up tracking form provided.

We take leadership seriously, so developing yourself as a leader is paramount to the role and being successful in it. Olami will provide leadership training online directly with the ambassadors led by Daniella Stern, results-driven leadership expert with extensive experience.
