The global Olami Impact Leaders Forum is a global conference for 500+ top Olami leaders from over 20 countries, as part of the Olami Impact Accelerator, a one-year program to develop aspiring Jewish leaders to make their impact.

The days of sightseeing combine touring of the key Jewish sites and exploring our rich Jewish history, and discussing it through the lens of leadership. What can we learn from each of these historic places and events and apply it to our lives today.

Former Chief Rabbi of the Hebrew Congregations of the Commonwealth

Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks served as the Chief Rabbi of the Hebrew Congregations of the Commonwealth from 1991 to 2013.  Since stepping down as Chief Rabbi, in addition to his international travelling and speaking engagements and prolific writing, Rabbi Lord Sacks has served as Professor of Judaic Thought at New York University and the Professor of Jewish Thought at Yeshiva University. He has also been appointed as Professor of Law, Ethics and the Bible at King’s College London.

Rabbi Yisroel Meir Lau

Chief Rabbi of Tel Aviv and former Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi of Israel

Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau is a survivor of the Buchenwald concentration camp. He was the Chief Rabbi of Natanya, Chief Rabbi of Tel Aviv and he is the former Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi of Israel. He wrote several books about his experience in a concentration camp. Rabbi Lau currently serves as chairman of the Yad Vashem Council.

Naftali Bennett is an Israeli politician who has led the right-wing religious The Jewish Home party since 2012. He has been Israel’s Minister of Education since 2015, and the Minister of Diaspora Affairs since 2013. He was also Minister of Economy and Minister of Religious Services.

Rabbi Dr. Akiva Tatz

Rabbi Dr. Akiva Tatz was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. After practising as a doctor in South Africa, the U.S. and Israel, he engaged in Talmudic study and became a lecturer and teacher in Jewish thought and medical ethics in Jerusalem. He is the Founder and Director of the Jerusalem Medical Ethics Forum and has written several books on Jewish Thought and Philosophy, which were later translated into Spanish, Portuguese and French.
